More Lifted Japanese Sports Cars Doing Rally Car Things, Please

This Safari-spec R32 is just too good.

Making the Nissan Skyline GT-R go fast on a paved race track is cool, and good, and right. Pavement is where the GT-R was born, and pavement is where the GT-R thrives. But as luck would have it, Godzilla also loves stomping around on dirt, as demonstrated by Adam LZ with his Safari-spec R32. All we can say is this - more lifted Japanese sports cars doing rally car things, please.

Best known for his YouTube adventures and Formula D drifting skills, Adam LZ recently turned this R32 into a lifted, terra-munching, extremely green off-roader, and well, the results are impressive. Specs include a 500-horsepower RB26 with a GTX3576 Gen 2 turbo and custom long-travel BC Racing suspension, plus tunable all-wheel drive and Nomad Grappler 215/65/17 rubber in the corners. And oh yeah, don't forget the Nismo off-road roof rack and an array of four- and six-inch fog lights, because who could say no to sliding around gravel roads with a bike strapped to the roof?

Seriously, this thing looks like it's an absolute blast, easily soaring across a variety of challenging terrain without so much as a wobble. That includes snowy Colorado, as demonstrated in a recent Adam LZ video:

Funny enough, the Safari-spec build is gaining in popularity across multiple performance segments, with the Porsche 911 Dakar, Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato, and Nissan Safari Rally Z Tribute all coming to mind. And that's a good thing, because we think there should be more lifted sports cars out there, especially Japanese sports cars. With bikes on the roof. Please and thank you.
